Ken Ambos joined Equity Risk Partners in 2008 as Senior Managing Director of Employee Benefits, based in the firm’s New York office. With more than twenty years of experience in health and welfare benefits consulting, he specializes in the mid-sized employer segment, with a specific focus on private equity due diligence and portfolio management advisory services. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Ambos was a founding Partner, Executive Vice President, and Benefits Consulting Practice Leader at Fitzmaurice Companies Inc., which was acquired by Bank of America in 2004, and then HRH in 2007.

Mr. Ambos is an expert panelist on numerous industry seminar topics. As a featured speaker in the Goldman Sachs U.S. Managed Care Research team’s annual “industry expert” conference call series, he provides specific insights into the health plan buying decisions of mid-sized employers. Mr. Ambos also shares his unique perspectives as the author of Equity Risk Partners’ Viewpoint: Healthcare Reform blog.
